Lets start with the parking. It is shared parking lot. Shame on the owner of the area to not keep the place clean and up to code. The asphalt needs to be reset. The wheel stops not installed correctly, sloppy parking area and graffiti on the signage. Now- the restaurant: the restaurant's cleanliness is very subpar, everyone, from the owner to the manager and the rest of the staff should be held accountable to deep clean this restaurant immediately. The ceiling tiles are full of dust and debri, this falls onto food and surfaces. Spider webs and dirty everywhere. Its 100 degrees outside and the AC unit probably needs to be replaced, temp inside is ridiculously hot. The staff is abbrasive and dismissive. At least the guy taking the orders was. If the dining room looks that bad Id hate to see the kitchen area. Only thing I could see is the ceiling above the cook station which needs desperately to be cleaned. The pizza itself sits out on a display for people to order and is not made fresh, the temps are off on the pizza sitting in the display. The plating for the pizza is stupid. This was our second time visiting this restaurant with the 1st time being in November 2025. This eatery has a steady stream of to go orders as well as dine in. Both times we ordered the pizza slices and they were fantastic. Whenever we are in the area, we will definitely stop by.

The pizza is really good and remains consistent. I am from up north and this pizza passes the flavor test every time. I’ve been here During the lunch hour, and even in the late afternoon/evening and no matter how busy they are they still provide great service.

My wife has been eating here for a decade or more. When I started visiting Winston-salem to visit her and had a pizza craving, she knew I had to try this spot. I’ve tell everyone that will listen about the grandma’s style slices. Thick crust, perfect cheese and sauce amounts, and delicious cupped pepperonis. Get an edge piece for even more of that dank crust. NY style is also exactly what you’d expect. Most importantly, these slices have a PROPER undercarriage. Not droopy and sloppy. Excellent ranch if you are into dipping your crust in something. I have a gravitational pull to Burke St pizza and will frequent even more often once back living in this area.

We’ve been searching for a go-to pizza spot since moving to Winston about a year ago, and it feels like we finally found it. Burke’s has that classic neighborhood vibe with good people making good food. The prices are super reasonable, and everything came out hot, fresh, and made to order. We tried a slice, the garlic knots, and the fried ravioli. Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they serve and care about getting it right every time. Definitely adding this to our regular rotation. Excited to come back and try more from the menu!
